Conolog completes field testing of “GlowWorm” fiber optic detector

SOMERVILLE, USA: Conolog Corp., an engineering and design company that provides digital signal processing solutions to global electric utilities, has completed field testing of its “GlowWorm” fiber optic detector that may be used in any fiber optic line or network without the need to cut the cable.

President of Conolog Marc Benou stated, “Our “GlowWorm” surpassed our expectations in field tests and demonstrated its capabilities in fiber optic networks as well as lines. This application of passive detection technology is unique to Conolog and will allow utilities and other customers to quickly determine the source of a fiber optic signal failure.”
