Test Advantage names Kenneth Ng sales manager of board repair business unit

TEMPE, USA: Test Advantage, a Boston Semi Equipment Group (BSE Group) company, has appointed Kenneth Ng to the position of Sales Manager for the company’s board repair business. Ng will focus on selling the company’s hardware repair and warranty services to the automated test equipment (ATE) back end semiconductor market. He will be based in Singapore and report to Richard Huang, VP of Asia for Test Advantage.

“The board repair business is a key component of Test Advantage’s overall plan to provide a comprehensive, value added offering to our customers in the back end secondary market,” said Colin Scholefield, executive VP, BSE Group, holding company of Test Advantage. “Adding Kenneth’s experience and background in both sales and the back end semiconductor industry demonstrates our commitment to growing Test Advantage in Asia. His appointment follows our recent acquisition of Microstats Inc. and represents another enhancement of our overall ATE offering.”

Ng joins Test Advantage with a strong background in engineering, test and sales and marketing. His extensive semiconductor-related experience includes positions of increasing responsibility with Systemation Pte Ltd, Advantest Singapore Pte Ltd, Siemens Components Singapore Pte Ltd and National Semiconductor Singapore.
