CHESTNUT RIDGE, USA: Teledyne LeCroy introduced the WaveJet Touch oscilloscope, providing an unprecedented combination \of performance and price — 500 MHz for $5,000.
The availability of a touch screen as well as powerful debug tools and advanced triggering is unique among oscilloscopes with comparable specifications and pricing. Built on the popular WaveJet 300 oscilloscope platform, the WaveJet Touch is available in two models with 350 MHz or 500 MHz bandwidth, four channels, up to 5 Mpts of memory at 2 GS/s, and a 7.5" touch screen display.
The WaveJet Touch offers the same great debug tools, connectivity, portability, and ease of use as its predecessor, the WaveJet 300A while adding a wide variety of new features and toolset enhancements to shorten debug time. Intricate signals can be acquired with ease by combining a long capture time with a variety of complex triggers, including triggers for I2C, SPI, and UART.
Digital low-pass, high-pass, and simple moving average filtering permit easy isolation of signals of interest. The choice of normal, peak detect, average, and high resolution acquisition modes provides flexibility when acquiring waveforms. Pass/fail mask and measurement testing enables deeper analysis and performs characterization and validation testing with ease.
Scroll back in time to view previous waveforms and isolate anomalies using Replay mode. Standard GPIB, LAN, and USB device ports provide flexibility for remote control. All of this comes in a small form factor and lightweight design, making it easy to carry and use anywhere.
