LAS VEGAS, USA: Galtronics Corp. Ltd., a Baylin Technologies company, has unveiled its newest EXTENT D5778i 60/60° MIMO panel antenna, designed for use in high-capacity venues such as stadiums, arenas, speedways or campuses where excellent wireless coverage is desired.
The new antenna is being presented for the first time at Galtronics Booth #2665 at the Super Mobility Week conference (CTIA).
Galtronics’ EXTENT antenna line consists of outdoor DAS and Stadium antenna solutions and offers high density venue owners a full range of state-of-the-art options that include the EXTENT D5501i 30/60° and EXTENT D5777i 30/30° beam width antennas as well as the new D5778i 60/60° antenna.
Coupled with the Pear product line for in-building wireless DAS networks it creates a full and complete product portfolio for high capacity venues as well as in-building DAS.
“With this 60/60 high capacity ‘Galtronics technology inside’ antenna product we reached a significant milestone, completing our high capacity venue product portfolio for DAS market as it exists today,” said Ephraim Ulmer, president and CEO of Galtronics. “We will continue to innovate in this fast moving wireless space, and we are working closely with our key customers on the next generation of products to further enhance high density and large venue wireless communications.”
The new EXTENT D5778i antenna provides precise, consistent and fast roll-off patterns for a clear-cut footprint and low interference. It handles up to 250–watt input power and is optimized for multi-carrier systems. The D5778i covers a particularly broad frequency range of 698-960/1710-2700 MHz, making it an attractive and future-proof choice for wireless network deployment. Galtronics tests all covered spectrum bands for Passive Intermodulation (PIM) to ensure high quality and performance.
