MTE releases the Matrix PureSine active harmonic filter

MENOMONEE FALLS, USA: MTE Corp., a Menomonee Falls based subsidiary of SL Industries Inc., has released the Matrix PureSine Active Harmonic Filter.

The PureSine is a powerful filtering solution for coordinated variable load power factor correction (PFC), phase imbalance, and harmonic mitigation. Features include:
* Modular design, easy to extend;
* Up to 51st harmonic;
* Up to 12 harmonic orders selected individually;
* Programmable leading or lagging power factor correction;
* Programmable Load balance function;
* Full-time DSP Control system;
* Easy selection;
* Shunt connection, easy for maintenance;
* Flexible Up-grading/Redundancy;
* Parallel operated for greater capacity;
* User-friendly LCD control panel.

The PureSine comes standard in a wall mount configuration and supports 480V. The LCD provides both English and Spanish text. The fully modular system allows the user to "right" size a system for current need, while still having the option to increase capacity as current load increases. PureSine can supply a maximum of 960A correcting current. All PureSine modules are UL/cUL.

"MTE is very excited about the Matrix PureSine. We are constantly looking for ways to better serve our customers by providing a greater range of solutions, while solidifying our position as the harmonic mitigation market leader. We believe the Matrix PureSine is a critical link in meeting that goal," said Don Klein, president of MTE.

The MTE Matrix PureSine helps to keep your equipment running longer by reducing the voltage drop and the temperature rise on transformers and cables that result from harmonics. The PureSine is a potent filtering solution.
