Digi-Key receives 2011 distributor partner of the year award from Micro Commercial Components

THIEF RIVER FALLS, USA: Digi-Key Corp. was named the 2011 Distributor Partner of the Year for Micro Commercial Components (MCC), a supplier with which Digi-Key has maintained a decade-long business partnership.

“This award illustrates our integration with MCC, from new product launches to stocking the broadest available-to-ship inventory portfolio in the industry,” said Mark Zack, Digi-Key’s VP of semiconductor product. “We are proud to accept this award and to be honored as MCC’s Distributor Partner of the Year.”

On Oct. 19, Pamela Cheng, vice president of MCC, presented the award to Mark Zack at Digi-Key Corporation in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. “The key word in the name of this award is ‘partner,’ because Digi-Key is more than a distributor to MCC,” said Cheng. “Digi-Key has become an integral part of how MCC goes to market.”
