SIGN CHINA and LED CHINA commences

GUANGZHOU, CHINA: The 10th annual SIGN CHINA, the world's pioneer sign industry event, and LED CHINA 2012, the world's largest LED event dedicated to the complete LED industry supply chain, open their doors today from 20-23 Feb. 2012 at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Area B in Guangzhou, P.R. China. The two co-located fairs organised by UBM Trust, continues to set new exhibition records and innovate in terms of creating a complete buyer experience.

SIGN CHINA 2012 has increased from eight to ten halls across 100,000+ sqm - a 25% increase from the 2011 edition. The exhibition hosts 1,320 exhibitors from across the world as well as famous brands including Roland, Fujifilm, Canon, Ningbo Yuan Yuan, Hebei Yuxin Industry and Trade, Guangzhou Aorise Aluminum Products, Showshop Display, Foxconn, HongLi, Nationstar, Philips Lumileds, Rubicon, Unilumin and many more.

With over 900 exhibitors across 70,000 sqm, LED CHINA 2012 sets new records as the largest scale event in the fair's history. This year, LED CHINA 2012 hosts over 250 LED display exhibitors, the largest number among all similar exhibitions in the world.

In addition, the exhibition has expanded to one additional floor as a special sector for LED Lighting, with 400+ LED lighting exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, products, and styles. Notable overseas brands include Philips Lumileds, RUBICON TECHNOLOGY, NuSil, OVATION POLYMERS, Dowa, TN-Sanso, Sapphiretek, Verticle, Monocrystal, Rusgems, and PENTEC, to name a few.

Concurrent to the two fairs, the inaugural China International LED Application Forum taking place on 19 and 21 February and the China LED Intellectual Property Summit taking place on 20 February have been added to the line-up of onsite activities. The LED Application forum will host over 200 global LED industry leaders and government officials to discuss current LED market developments, standards and trends, and share case studies on infrastructure and commercial projects.

The one day LED IP Summit will include lectures on how IP is shaping the industry, how manufacturers are managing their patents, and strategies on navigating this new landscape.
