Analogix releases single-cable SlimPort HDTV connector

Mobile World Congress 2013, SPAIN & USA: Analogix Semiconductor, a leader in DisplayPort-based interconnect devices, has just added a SlimPort HDTV cable to its feature line of SlimPort accessories.

This lightweight, single cable provides a simple plug and play connection from your Google Nexus 4 smartphone or SlimPort technology-enabled MYDP mobile device to any HDMI monitors or TVs and can be immediately purchased on Amazon for $34.95 (USD).

SlimPort provides the seamless transfer of Full HD resolution videos, photos, games and other media resident on the smartphone to be viewed and interacted with on virtually any size screen, all while preserving battery life. Featuring a SlimPort micro USB to HDMI 1.4 male connector, the SlimPort HDTV cable, model SP1101, is a comfortable 150cm (nearly 5 feet) and supports up to 1080p resolutions, 60Hz video refresh rate, 24 bits per pixel and up to 7.1 channel HDMI audio.

SlimPort branded products are based on the DisplayPort technology and are compliant with the Mobility DisplayPort (MyDP) standard, owned by VESA. The cable, backed by a one year warranty, is FCC and CE certified, RoHS II compliant and halogen-free.
