Digi-Key adds PUI Audio’s programmable indicator to line card

THIEF RIVER FALLS, USA: Digi-Key Corp. announced the addition of PUI Audio’s Programmable Indicator to its expansive product line.

The Programmable Indicator allows users to program up to 30 seconds of any WAV or MP3 file via USB from a computer. With a wide frequency range of 100 Hz to 6,000 Hz, the device can play a variety of tones, alarm signals, or voice and music messages. Once programmed, the indicator will play the file repetitively until power is turned off. The file is stored on internal flash memory that can be reprogrammed as often as desired and will not erase until another file is programmed over it. With an operating voltage range of 7 to 24 VDC, there is no need for complex circuitry to produce the exact tone users need.

PUI Audio’s Programmable Indicator, and more of the company’s audio innovations are available for purchase now on Digi-Key’s global websites.

As the leading integrated Internet-based distributor, information about and inventory of millions of products is accessible to customers around the globe, with all products shipped from Digi-Key’s single, North American location. The company’s integrated business model provides product and support information online to help put engineers and procurement professionals in control as they solve tough product development challenges.
