DETROIT, USA: kVA, an engineering company specializing in automotive electronic systems, has unveiled a new training program aimed at the growing demand for ISO 26262 expertise. This training program is the only US course presented entirely by kVA's Functional Safety Certified Automotive Engineers (FSCAEs), a designation awarded by German safety expert TÜV-Nord. The next session is scheduled for April 16-19 in Troy, Michigan.
"The US market doesn't have another expert source for ISO 26262 training," says Bill Taylor, managing partner, kVA. "We provide industry-focused, practical training on the ISO 26262 standard, right here in Detroit. Our trainers are certified experts in the field, with decades of experience in automotive system design and development."
kVA's training materials describe several advantages of the course, including:
Optional Certification for Individuals: An optional examination is offered at the end of the training session. Successful completion of the examination will qualify attendees as Functional Safety Certified Automotive Engineer (FSCAE).
Hardware FMEDA Tool for Attendees: All participants of the System and Hardware Session will receive the unique Excel-based FMEDA-Workbench database tool, which streamlines FMEDA analysis in accordance with ISO 26262 principles.
Training Developed by the Experts: kVA's training modules are developed in cooperation with Germany's TÜV-Nord, the world-leader in safety critical systems.
Training to a Broad Audience, with Technical Depth: The training is suited for managers, engineers, and quality professionals interested in functional safety and the new ISO 26262 standard.
