Newark doubles Maxim inventory, showcases newest medical and industrial technologies

CHICAGO, USA: Leading multi-channel electronics distributor Newark, part of global Premier Farnell, announces that it is supporting Maxim’s commitment to delivering innovation by doubling the number of products it stocks for same-day shipping at www.newark.com/maxim.

Uniquely, a Maxim applications engineer is available to answer product questions and provide technical support for these products at element14, Premier Farnell’s popular global engineering resource and community. This is in addition to the technical support Newark offers 24 hours a day, Monday-Friday, at www.newark.com

Among the new Maxim products is the MAX16065, a 12-channel flash-configurable sequencer/monitor that simplifies power management and helps conserve power. The device eliminates the need for external current-sense amplifiers, saving both space and cost, and simplifies design for Computed Tomography (CT imaging).

The MAX9617, a zero-drift, rail-to-rail precision operational amplifier, is designed for diagnostics, medical imaging and portable medical devices. This device is also recommended for sensor interface in low frequency application industrial solutions, featuring ultra-low input-offset voltage, input-bias current and input voltage noise, very high CMRR and a minimal 1/f noise. The device is packaged in a 2mmx2mm SC70 to save space in portable devices.

The MAX11044/MAX11045/MAX11046 provide solutions in medical imaging and motor control applications. 93Db SNR and -105dB THD offers industry-leading dynamic range for early detection of error signals and improves image quality. Simultaneous sampling eliminates phase-adjust firmware requirements and multiple integrated ADCs eliminate external mux plus saves cost and space.

“Newark and Maxim are strategically aligned, each targeting the medical and industrial markets,” comments Jim Seifert, Vice President, Supplier Management, Newark. “During the past six months we have increased our orders of all Maxim products by over 300 percent, and we’ve almost doubled the stock of new products we’ve introduced from them.”
