MELVILLE, USA: Arrow Electronics Inc. is expanding its global distribution agreement with Amphenol, a leading supplier of interconnect products and technologies, to include Amphenol Industrial Operations (AIO) in Asia.
The expanded agreement includes distribution services throughout Asia (excluding Japan). Arrow’s previous agreement with Amphenol includes North America and the EMEA regions.
Arrow customers in Asia will now have access to AIO’s products and services that specialize in the design and manufacture of cylindrical connectors to industrial market segments.
Industries served by AIO include semiconductor equipment, instrumentation and measurement equipment, factory automation, motion and process control, machine tool, heavy equipment, diesel engine, rail mass transportation, hybrid electric vehicle, power and green energy, among others.
“Amphenol is a long-standing, valued partner of Arrow,” said Jeff Eastman, senior vice president, global supplier marketing and asset management for Arrow Electronics. “We look forward to offering our customers in Asia the products and services of one of the strongest suppliers in the connector market.”
