Sunrise Technologies intros system for dimming LED outdoor lighting

BOSTON, USA: Sunrise Technologies has released the Dimulator (patent pending), a module and system that actuates dimming of LED Outdoor Lighting.

The Dimulator produces a 0-10 Vdc or a Pulse Width Modulation output to LED Drivers to actuate the dimming feature. For local dimming control, the Dimulator receives a signal from a Sunrise Technologies MidNight Tracker control to dim the LED light at midnight.

For remote dimming control the Dimulator receives a signal from a Sunrise Technologies Wi-OLC (Wireless Outdoor Lighting Control). The Dimulator Module can also receive a signal from a contactor to actuate dimming.

Vance Spillman, VP and GM of FP OLC / Sunrise Technologies says: “Until now there has been no practical way to dim LED Outdoor Lights through a NEMA twistlock receptacle or other three wire system. The Dimulator fills a void in LED Outdoor Lighting technology.”
