Arrow Electronics opens custom computer system integration facilities in India, Brazil

ENGLEWOOD, USA: Increasing its support for original equipment manufacturers, Arrow Electronics Inc. is expanding its network of custom computer system integration and fulfillment facilities to seven around the world. Arrow recently added locations in San Paulo, Brazil, and Bangalore, India.

“Arrow is pleased to expand our network of integration centers to include facilities in India and Brazil,” said Brian Armstrong, VP of Arrow’s OEM Computing Solutions business. “These locations were selected based on the needs of our customers to deploy solutions in those regions.”

Arrow’s integration facilities provide design and manufacturing services for OEM solutions ranging from system integration and hardware solution design to custom packaging and diagnostic and functional testing. The facilities bring an instant, scalable infrastructure for high-quality custom integration and assist OEMs with managing their supply chain with speed, accuracy and efficiency. Arrow provides full-scale support from pre-design to market delivery, including process analyses, material planning and sourcing, order automation, land-cost optimization, global pricing and compliance consulting and transportation services.

In addition to the locations in Brazil and India, Arrow also operates integration facilities in Phoenix, Ariz.; Budapest, Hungary; Shenzhen, China; Petach Tikva, Israel; and Nogales, Mexico.

All of Arrow’s integration facilities follow “CopyXact” methodology to ensure that processes and procedures in production and fulfillment activities remain consistent across all locations. The facilities are universally equipped, and detailed documentation of build procedures following the production of the “first article” and the establishment of a stable production state guide the consistent production of systems, regardless of the facilities involved.
