USA: Mercury Systems Inc., a best-of-breed provider of commercially developed, open sensor and Big Data processing systems for critical commercial, defense and intelligence applications, announced it received a $2 million follow-on order from a leading defense prime contractor for rugged high-performance digital signal processing modules for an airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) application.
The order is expected to be shipped by the end of Mercury's fiscal 2013 third quarter.

"Mercury's commitment to providing the most advanced and reliable signal processing systems and architecture has ensured our continued participation in this mission-critical defense program."
